Our festival director, Professor Charlotte Crofts, was featured on the Claire Carter Show on BBC Radio Bristol – a fantastic opportunity to share details about this year’s Cary Comes Home events and celebrate Cary Grant’s enduring connection to Bristol.
During the interview, we talked about the festival’s upcoming screening of Penny Serenade (1941) at Bristol Megascreen on Saturday 29 November. This beautifully poignant film earned Cary Grant his first Oscar nomination and is widely regarded as a classic “three-hankie” tearjerker – a rare chance to experience it on the big screen.
